Andrew Short, I'm 26 and I ride for Honda Red Bull Racing.

First time you were on a motorcycle?
I was 5 and I used to ride in a field behind our house in Colorado.

How many years have you been racing?
I started racing when I was 5 and professionally in 2001.

Why do you like racing so much?
I enjoy the flow and rhythm that supercross brings when racing and combining that with competition makes it an addiction for me.

Best race you’ve ever seen?
My first supercross when I was a kid, the 1991 Phoenix SX.

Your greatest accomplishment so far?
Finishing 3rd in both series in 2008 and winning the East/West shootout twice.

Favorite racer of all-time?
Jeremy McGrath and Donnie Hansen.

Tell us something about your hometown?
Colorado Springs is home to the Olympic Training Center and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

One thing you take with you when you travel?
My Bible.

What do you eat before a race?
Chicken, potatoes, and a spinach salad.

What kind of music do you listen to?
Christian and Country

Friday Night Lights.

I'm always stinky behind!

Married to my wife, Jacki.

Besides my wife of course, Minka Kelly.

When you’re done racing, what would you like to do?
Be the ultimate stay at home dad and ride my bicycle and play tennis.
